The population of the US is getting older but unlike earlier generations, this generation has placed a much higher value on looking good. The Baby Boomer generation is defined as the children born after WWII from the years 1946 to 1964. As the Baby Boomers age more they trying to retain their youthful looks more than ever. Older people are actually helping to raise up the number of plastic surgeries performed every year.

There are many of different reasons behind the increase in the acceptance of cosmetic surgery. The growing Baby Boomer population is more youth oriented and more interested holding on to their natural health for as long as possible.
