Here is a trick that is absolutely easy to learn, and easy to do. It always amazes them, and you will never get caught. All it requires is a normal deck of cards, some beforehand set up, and that you are able to tell a goofy story about some made up group of friends. Any story will work, as you shall see in a minute.
This is how it will emerge to your astonished viewers or acquaintances (or stranger on the street for that matter!) You wander up and say that you have a magic deck of cards. You quickly hold through the deck, so they can notice it’s a pretty frequent deck. Not a ruse deck filled with the Three of Clubs or something like that.
Then you tap the pinnacle of the deck, plus demonstration them the top two cards. No big deal, right? Then you tap the deck once more, but those same two cards are now at the bottom! Then you take those two cards off the bottom, plus put them in center of the deck. Tap the deck after more (you can borrow a pencil or something and use it as a magic wand if you like), plus the two cards are again at the peak! You scratch your head, plus go on to another ruse, or if this is with a stranger at a party or something, you scratch your head as well as amble away. This will leave a fabulous effect, and they will never forget you!
OK, here’s the ruse. This only works with the Two as well as Three of both Diamonds and Hearts. When you start, you’ll have the Two of Hearts, as well as the Three of Diamonds on pinnacle, plus the Two of Diamonds, and the Three of Hearts on the bottom. As soon as you exhibition them the summit two cards, they won’t look utterly closely. Then after you show them the bottom two, they will surprise what the heck is going on, as they will think they are the same cards, as soon as they unbelievably aren’t.
Then you quickly take them, stick them anyplace in the middle (you can even separate them if you like), and yet again demonstration them the cars on peak, which are different from the ones they just saw, but they won’t remember. This most excellent if you can make up some crazy allegory involving hearts and diamonds, three guys and two girls, or whatever. That way they’ll be looking at the cards even less closely.
Don’t worry concerning being caught, as it almost never happens. It will only happen if they’ve seen the stunt before, or if you spread the cards out for too long. All they amazingly need to see is that one is a Two, the other is a Three, as well as they are both red. if you charge a kind tale concerning two of something, three of something else, and hearts and diamonds, they won’t have a clue, as well as will be properly impressed with your supernatural skills. Have fun.

If you like the idea of doing a very entertaining and amazing party trick, look no further. This is a great psychic transmission trick that you can use with a deck of cards, or anything else for that matter. It only requires a little bit of set up beforehand, and you can entertain the party for hours with this trick, as you can do it again and again and they will never catch on to how you do this.
Here is how the caper will look like to your shocked audience. You describe that your pal has a ability of reading your mind, but he or she can only read your mind. They will unsurprisingly ask for a show, and you initiate a regular pack of cards. You let anybody glance through the cards to make sure it’s not a secret deck, then you ask your associate to exit the area, or the area for a couple of minutes.
The mob, or person you are doing this ruse with chooses, any card. You don’t even finger the deck. They spread the deck, decide on the card, verify it to you, and put it in their pocket. Your assistant, or friend, comes back in the area, as well as sits or stands behind you, as well as space their fingers on your temple, just like Spock would accomplish in a Vulcan mind meld. As soon as a few moments, your friend or partner guesses the card.
Here’s the stunt. When they position their hands, or fingers, on your temple, you watchfully tighten your jaw together a number of times based on a pre compilation code between you as well as your partner. If you try now, you can spread your temple as well as feel the muscles tighten once you clench your jaw somewhat. For example, you could start off by clenching to indicate the suit, pause and then clench to denote the number of the card.
It can also help if you can put your head down slightly, and they can hold their total palms flat against the side of your face. That will have a more remarkable impact, plus will cover up any obvious clenching. Also, you’ll need to explain why your partner needs to touch you only on that place for it to work, so you’ll need to come up with a good parable. You can clarify that your cohort is part Vulcan or something.
Of course, this isn’t limited to card tricks. If you and your partner find out Morse code, you can transmit all kinds of information between each other as well as entertain your contacts for hours. One great example is to blindfold your partner, plus then have people in the viewers fan up easy things, as well as then you transmit them using Morse code. If he or she is blindfolded, they will be more focused on the integrity of the blind fold than any process of transmission. I’m mechanical you can assume of a luck of other breathtaking ways to use this entertaining stunt. Have enjoyable.

Here is a great card trick that is based largely in misdirection. It requires a little bit of set up, but with only a few minutes practice you should be able to effectively perform this successfully in front of any audience. This is a big hit with kids, as it doesn’t require any special sleight of hand moves, and it’s pretty simple once you figure it out.
This is how the hoax will materialize to your astounded audience. You take three Aces: Spades, Clubs, and Diamonds. You fan them out, showing them to the audience. Then you lay them on top of the deck, and rearrange and cut the deck quite a lot of times, ensuring that they have been equally dispersed.
You then ask a volunteer to come up and look for the Ace of Diamonds. They will look in vain, as they won’t be able to come across it. If you like, you can get a new audience member to come up and search, but they too will be unsuccessful. Then you pull the Ace of Diamonds out of your shirt pocket. (Or your back pocket, or shoe, or wherever.)
Here’s how to set the ploy up. First discover all the Aces. Then put the Ace of Diamonds in your pocket (or shoe or wherever) beforehand. Then lay the other Aces on top of the deck. When you drag the three Aces off the top, and fan them out, make sure to hold the Ace of Hearts in the center. If you locate both other cards on either side of the Ace of Hearts, it will look like the Ace of Diamonds to the audience.
How you word this is important. If you mention beforehand that you are going to make the Ace of Diamonds disappear, they will be looking much more intimately. But if you just start of by recitation what you are doing, and then name the three cards (Ace of Clubs, Spades, and Diamonds) they will likely have faith in you, and not stare too closely at the three cards.
One way that can exceptionally help is as you are shuffling and cutting the deck, is to impart some long winded story about how diamonds have some kind of captivating power, and in the old days when they were choosing the shapes for cards, they almost didn’t choose diamonds because people were always stealing them, or they were always disappearing or something. That way, when they start wondering about the Ace of Diamonds, it will already be secreted someplace in the deck, or so they assume. Have fun with this trick.

If you’d like a great way to quickly establish credibility and rapport with any audience, then look no further. This is a great set of skills that is easy to learn yet extraordinarily powerful. When you use them either on stage, or in a one on one encounter, you will appear as though you have amazing psychic powers. This will go a long way in establish trust, and allowing your audience that fantastic feeling of suspended disbelief.
Any conjurer knows that trustworthiness is very significant when performing a chain of magic tricks. One gaffe and you’re cover is blown, and they’ll be watching you with a much closer eye. When folks observe a magic act, particularly if they’d paid money, they want to be dazzled and entertained. They don’t want to have to imagine that you are magic. They want to trust you are magic.
A great way to set yourself up as an influence in their minds is through some ostensibly breathtaking psychic mind reading. But through some basic eye accessing cues, you can regularly tell what kinds of thoughts they are wondering. When you match up your “patter” with the kinds of thoughts they are thinking, your integrity, and their delight, will skyrocket.
Here are the general rules. When individuals look up, either up and to the right, or up and to the left, they are in general thinking visually. They are literally seeing movies in their minds. When individuals are looking side to side, they are usually thinking of sounds, either voices, songs, or music. When folks look down, either down and to the right, or down and to the left, they are generally thinking of “feeling” thoughts.
A great way to integrate this into your act is to pick a specific person, and then develop a short exchange with them. As you pay attention to their eyes, and gain an understanding into their thoughts, you can clearly match your words to their type of thinking. Undoubtedly put, verbalize in picture words (look, see, notice, etc.) when they are looking up, and converse in sound words (hear, listen, music, etc.) when they are looking side to side. People rarely think in terms of feelings when they are out watching a show. It is more of a visual and auditory experience.
While these instructions are incredibly basic, and broad, they will go a great deal in helping you gain a gigantic amount of connection in a moderately small amount of time with any audience, or even with a one on one encounter when you are performing street magic. These skills can even be used in a non-magic setting, like on a date or inside a relationship, but I’ll leave that up to you.

If you like the idea of convincing a room full of people that you have powerful psychic skills, then this trick is for you. It requires only a couple minutes of set up, and it will powerfully demonstrate your incredible skills of psychic projection. Most everybody will quickly be convinced beyond a shadow of any doubt that you have massively powerful Jedi mind skills.
Here’s how the trick will look to your soon to be especially awed test subject. You tell them you have a deck of cards, and you will grasp each card off the top, and think on the color, red or black. Then you will propel the color into their brain, and they will involuntarily choose the right color. You methodically go through the whole deck, projecting either black or red into their head.
When you are finished, you will have two stacks of cards. When they guess red, you put the cards to the left, and every time they guess black, you put the cards to the right. You elucidate to them that according to the laws of statistics, two or three in a row is arbitrary chance, but more than five or six in a row is testimony of something deeper, something unsolved. You ask them to pick which to check first, black or red. Then pick up whichever stack is that color, and ask them how many cards in a row would satisfy them of your powers. Usually they’ll say somewhere between five and ten.
You then carry on to flip ten cards over, all the exact color that they predicted. You have proven your aptitude to eloquently project your thoughts into their brain, and they will never look at you the same way again.
Here’s how to do the trick. Beforehand, you’ll need to separate out all the red and black cards, put them into the deck. So you’ll have 26 black cards on top of 26 red cards. When you are “projecting” the card color into their brain, you’ll go through all the black cards, and all of the red cards. Since they’ll likely choose erratically between black and red, after the first half the trick is over, you’ll have two stacks, with black on top of red, on either side.
They, of course, will believe one stack is utterly black, and one stack is utterly red. So when you ask them which stack they’d like to look at first, just bear in mind which color is on top. If they pick red, display them ten cards in a row from the bottom, and if they choose black, present them ten cards in a row from the top. You’ll need to be talking when you pick up the specific stack, and turn it over in your hands a couple times to keep their concentration off which side of the stack you pull the cards from. This trick always amazes them, and will persuade any skeptic beyond a shadow of a doubt of your telepathic projection abilities. Have fun.

If you love up close magic tricks that are easy to learn, you’ve come to the right place. In this article you’ll learn an easy trick that requires only a little bit of set up. It is an up close trick, so you’ll be able to do this in front of your friends, and you can even get one of your friends to volunteer and help out. This makes it even more mysterious. It helps to be able to tell a good story with this trick.
Here’s how the trick will look to your friends. You start out with three Jacks spread out across a table. You make up some extended allegory about how they are best acquaintances, and always locate each other. Then elaborate about how they were one way or another separated. Put one Jack on top of deck, one someplace in the middle, and one on the bottom. Remember to make clear that Jacks of magical powers of reunion.
Then ask your volunteer to cut the deck once. After they cut the deck, tell some more stories about how the Jacks continually find each other no matter what happens. Then turn the deck over, and spread out the cards. Someplace in the middle, the three Jacks will be together once again, striking the crowd.
Here’s the secret. Before you start, make sure to leave one Jack on top of the deck. That way, when you put one Jack on top, they’ll in reality be two Jacks on top of the deck. And when you put one Jack on the bottom, and your helper cuts the deck, they’ll automatically be putting one Jack on top of two, so they will always be someplace in the deck.
Make sure when you do this to keep the focus on your allegory, and use full hand gestures and so on. As the Jacks they find in the middle of the deck won’t be the same Jacks that were laid at the beginning of the trick. But if you only lay them out long enough to show everybody that there are certainly three Jacks, and persist with your story for a couple of minutes after you place them in the deck, they will most likely quickly forget the precise suits.
Of course, with some clever hand maneuvers you can do this ploy again, but you run the risk of being detected, as they’ll be watching your hands much more strictly. I’ve only been able to do this two or three times in a row before my spectators figured out what was going on. Nevertheless, this is a great trick to do if you’ve got a couple extra tricks up your sleeve, so to speak. Have fun.

Here’s a great up close magic trick that doesn’t require any complicated tricks or gadgets or gimmicks. You don’t have to prepare anything, and it only requires a regular deck of cards. You don’t even need to know how to shuffle to do this trick. It’s based on pure mathematics, which means that it will work regardless who does it. Of course, the more you talk this up while you do it, the more entertaining it will be. You’ll easily be able to impress anybody with this simple trick.
Here’s how the trick appears to your soon so be enthralled audience. You tell them that you have just learned some authoritative skills of psychic projection. You can place thoughts secretly in their mind. Of course, they don’t trust you, and they ask for a demonstration, to which you fortuitously oblige.
You pull out a ordinary deck of cards, and open up the cards so that only you can see the cards. You spend a significant amount of psychic force looking at the cards, and looking at your friend. Then you put the cards back into a standard stack, and tell the person to select any two cards, without naming the suit. Like ace, and queen, or ten and three, for example.
Once they pick out their two cards, you look through the deck, and show them that the two cards they chose are right next to each other. They will be amazed, and likely ask you to do this trick again. You go through the motions of looking at the cards, and projecting the numbers into their heads. Once again they choose two cards, and once again you show them their two cards are right next to each other in the deck.
The reason this always works is due to complete mathematical probability. Since they aren’t naming the suit of the card, and only the number, there is about a ninety percent possibility that any two cards they pick will be next to each other, since when they choose two cards, their in fact choosing eight (two cards of four suits each). And just sheer mathematics, the probability of any two of any eight cards in a deck being next to each other is about ninety percent.
Of course, the more you chat this trick up, the better. The more you make believe to project thoughts into their mind, and go through the motions of doing anguished psychic projection the better. If you want you can make a welcoming wager with them that you can accurately “project” the cards into to their head before the trick. Have fun with this.

This a great self working card trick that only requires a small bit of misdirection. It’s great to do with kids, or adults. I’ve never been caught while doing this trick. It’s easy to learn, and easy to teach, if you so choose. And the great part is that you really embellish this trick with all kinds of wonderful patter if you like that sort of thing.
Here’s the fundamental trick, as it looks like to your viewers. You hold a regular deck of cards, and fan it out, like they would imagine. Then you order them to select a card, any card. They take card, and you tell them to examine it carefully, and display it to their friends. After they place it back in the deck, you mysteriously pluck it right out. They will be astonished, and think you have powerful extrasensory powers.
Here’s how to do the ruse. While they are busily learning their card, you part the deck, and create a place for them to place their card. All you need to do is take a quick peak at the card that you will put on top of theirs. Just bear in mind this card, and once they place there’s in the deck, you’ll know precisely what card comes after. There are numerous ways to divulge this trick.
The most evident way is to simply imagine you are reading their mind while looking through the cards. Then when you get to there’s (which is next to the one you peaked at), you merely pull it out. This alone will worth the price of admission. But hang around, there’s more.
You can hunt through the deck, pretending to look for it. Once you get to there card, part and re stack the pack so their card is on top. Then place the deck face down on a counter, say some captivating language, tap the top, and there card will be on top. But hang on, that’s not all, there’s one more commanding reveal.
Once you have their card on top, place the deck behind your back, or under the table. Then speedily take their card out, flip it over, and place it back in the deck, so it’s facing the opposite direction of all the other cards. Then pretend that you can’t guess their card, and get them to tell you which one it was. Then merely look through the deck, now with the cards face up, and there’s will be the only card that is face down. This is only a few ways to reveal their card, I’m sure you can think of many others. The more you can talk up your psychic powers of deduction before this trick, the better. You’ll have a astonished audience in no time, wanting to see more tricks. Have fun with this.

If you love doing up close magic tricks, this show stopper will entertain like no other. This magic trick is done with everybody’s favorite thing, money. And because nobody will be able to guess how you did this incredible trick, your magical charisma will be through the roof. This does take a bit of practice and preparation, but it’s well worth it.
Here’s how the trick will seem to your willing audience. You pull out a bill, any bill will do, but I suggest using simply a dollar, as you will be cutting it in half. You make clear to the swarm that you have recently discovered some potent currency magic from the gods of fortune, and you are going to give a demo. You pull out a dollar bill, and a pair of cutters.
As the crowd looks on anxiously, you slice the dollar bill in half. You hold each half up independently for all to observe, and with some magic words, and possibly a wave of your magic wand, with each hand you magically make each cut half grow into a new, full dollar bill. You have just performed the impossible. You have cut a dollar bill in half, and each half has developed a new half, so now you have two dollars!
Here’s the secret. Before, you’ll want to gently arrange both bills. You take each bill, and gently swathe the center of each with a thin strip of rubber cement. Make sure to coat both sides. After you have finished covering each side with rubber cement, cautiously dust the rubber cement with baby powder, or talcum powder.
When you pull out the “single” bill, it is in reality two bills placed carefully together. When you cut through each bill, you will have two halves that are joined by the rubber cement. So when you open up each half, they will seem to be a single bill, when in fact it is two separate bills that are now glued together by the rubber cement.
This takes a bit of practice, so make sure you practice with some regular paper. Of course, if you don’t like the idea of cutting genuine money in half, you can always use stage money, or monopoly money. Also it’s a decent idea to talk a good game prior to and following the trick. Another good idea is to rapidly put both bills back in your pocket, where you have two more duplicate bills waiting, should anybody ask to inspect them. This works great at parties or bars, where folks are relaxed and having a good time. Have fun with this.

This self working card trick has long been a favorite of magicians of all ages. Since it’s self working, you don’t need to learn any special sleight of hand or use any special gimmicks. Another plus is that you can quickly show kids, even young ones, how to do this trick, and it will still work perfectly.
Here’s how the trick seems to your surprised observers. You have all the cards of the equivalent suit taken out of the deck. So you’ve got all the hearts, or clubs, or whatever. Have them arranged in order, beginning from the ace, and ending with the king. If you are doing this with kids, you can even have them set the deck up for them.
After you’ve got it set up, then you go through the deck once, showing them all that they are certainly in order, starting from the ace, and ending at the king. If you like you can present them the short stack and have them check for themselves to make sure there is nothing weird going on.
Then explain the deception to them. You have the stack face down. If they say “deal,” then you take one card off the top, and place it face down on the table, in a new stack. If they say “double deal” then you take two cards off the top, reverse the order and then place them face down in the same stack. Do this until you’ve gone through all the cards. Tell them that they have to memorize the new order that the cards are in. While they are busily trying to re calculate the order, you pick up the new stack, and begin to turn each card over one by one. They will be astounded to see that the cards are still in the same order, beginning from the ace, up to the king.
Most frequently, they will ask you to do it again, and again. And the cool part is, since this is a self working trick, they can do it themselves and it will still work. The reason it works should be understandable once you do this a few times. If you take only one card off the top, and place it in the new stack, (deal), or take two cards, and reverse the order, placing them in the new stack (double deal) they still end up in the same order, no matter if you deal or double deal them. To observe how this works, do the trick with all the cards facing up, and you’ll see how it works out.
This is unbelievable for kids of all ages, and several of them will never guess how it works even after they do the trick themselves. Of course, you’ll intermittently run into a young theorist or natural mathematician who’ll see right through this trick and know how it’s down. Even so, this trick is fantastic for everlasting amounts of amusement, even with adults. Have fun with this easy trick.
